Trisha is an author of young adult fiction from Kansas City, MO. Her first novel is currently in revisions.
Raised by a family of ex-farmers and/or almost rock stars from Northeastern Iowa, she earned a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film from Texas Christian University (yes, the Horned Frogs, that’s right) in 2001. At TCU she discovered her love for writing.
She moved home to Kansas City after graduation, took a job – any job – and began to search for a way to release the voices in her head. Trisha wrote a thriller and a couple of ghost stories, getting her feet wet and learning with each attempt.
In December of 2009 an idea for a dystopian young adult novel blew into her mind and snagged.
Trisha spends her spare time watching television and movies, spending time with her large, loud, loving family, reading any book that falls into her hands, and being dragged into the fresh air by her dogs Yoda and Jilly.
Like everyone, she’s had ups and downs but is now in the best place of her life. She’s writing. She’s happy.
